What is the role of beveling the long arm plate?
The melting depth of the welding machine commonly used in the industry is only 3mm thick. The plate thickness of our long arm is at least 8mm. If the beveling is not opened, the welding machine will not be able to penetrate the entire weld, so the welding effect will be poor, and the weld cracking and other problems will occur later.
We use machinery to make the bevel, while other factories use manual bevel (as shown in the picture)

A3: Depending on the tunnel’s height, you can design configurations that either require or omit a boom cylinder. However, essential components include: one arm cylinder, one bucket cylinder, 8 pins, 6 high-pressure hoses, a set of link assemblies, a set of breaker pipes, and 2 stop valves. Tunnel arms typically operate at heights of 4-6 meters.
Q4: What are the requirements for tunnel arms?

- A. It is recommended that tunnel arms be paired with a straight hammer. In basements, where height is limited, a triangular hammer may extend above the arm’s plane, scraping the ceiling and causing difficulty during operation. A straight hammer avoids this issue.
- B. The design of the tunnel arm does not account for transportation height. Typically, for transporting larger machines with tunnel arms, the breaker needs to be removed beforehand. The tunnel arm’s forearm is filled with material to increase its weight, which helps press the breaker down, reduces rebound force, and increases the impact force during crushing.
